Great News! The Winnipeg Film Group has purchased 2 sliders. To celebrate, we are hosting:

Winnipeg Film Group presents:

The Summer Film Challenge:

Summer Challenge #1: The Summer Slider.

Your challenge is to create up to a 3 minute short film/video only using moving shots via the sliders. The registration fee is $20 and that will get you free use of the sliders for up to 3 days. You would have to be a full member to participate in this challenge.

You have until Sept 16th by noon to hand in your piece to the WFG.

There will be prizes awarded to the best films.

Screening:

Wednesday, Sept 16thth at 7:00PM

At the Black Lodge Theatre in the WFG.

our location

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.

The Winnipeg Film Group is located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Métis Nation. We offer our respect and gratitude to the traditional caretakers of this land.
