*Note: This in-person workshop is limited to 10 participants. While masks are no longer required to be worn in indoor public spaces in Manitoba, individuals are recommended to wear a mask in our Production Centre.
Participants will learn the basics of editing in Davinci Resolve 18. They will learn how to take footage (provided) and make a short video using all the basic elements of the software. Participants may use the media lab computers, or bring in their laptops with DaVinci Resolve 18 already installed (Please ensure it is installed and working prior to attending).
*Laptops are strongly recommended.
● Set up a video project
● Learn the DaVinci Resolve workspace
● Learn how to import different types of media into DaVinci Resolve
● Learn different types of cuts and techniques
● Manipulate/edit media on the timeline, add transitions, titles and effects
● Export final video
Instructor Description:
Abby Falvo is a multi-disciplinary artist from Winnipeg. For more than 10 years she has been producing and creating media for sketch groups and comedy shows including video sketches, audio, and graphics.
