This year’s 25th anniversary of the Winnipeg New Music Festival features artists who will challenge, stimulate and provoke looking both back and to the future. In conjunction with the festival we present a special late night premiere of a brand new documentary on Sonic Youth co-founder and musician Lee Renaldo.

Featuring an original soundtrack by Lee Ranaldo & Hifiklub. Through the streets of NYC, through artist studios, cafes, recording studios, lofts and venues, Lee Ranaldo meets his friends, collaborators and people who influenced him. They talk about music, visual art, life and sausages, being a part of a band and being by your own.They talk about a lot of different things with Lee, from childhood in the suburbs to Sonic Youth and beyond.
