In this Jean Luc Godard classic, Ferdinand Griffon a.k.a. “Pierrot” (Jean-Paul Belmondo) wearies of his life and his wife. When Ferdinand falls head over heels in love with the enigmatic Marianne Renoir (Anna Karina) he abandons his family. He discovers, however, that Marianne is not who she seems. Pursued by thugs, they steal a car and embark on a crime spree through the French countryside.
