Karsten Wall will teach an introductory class on how to edit documentary projects in Adobe Premiere. The workshop will go over organizing and logging footage, taking your assembly to a rough cut, selecting the right interview takes and constructing an assembly edit and storyline. Karsten Wall is a Winnipeg based editor and filmmaker who focuses primarily on nature documentaries. Recent editing work includes “Kingdom Of The Polar Bears” on CBC’s The Nature Of Things, and “Great Lakes Untamed” on the Smithsonian Channel. His first self-directed project, “The Seven Wonders Of Manitoba” won a Golden Sheaf Award at the 2020 Yorkton Film Festival. Currently Karsten is in post-producton on a National Film Board documentary about Canada geese living in Winnipeg.
