Intimacy can be absolutely central to your film’s narrative. From character development, conflict, resolution, and back again, sex and intimacy are an enormous part of our lives as humans and the lives of our characters. It’s important that we pay attention to the who, what, where, and why of our decisions relating to on-screen intimacy and choreography.
Join award-winning Winnipeg adult filmmaker Kate Sinclaire for a 2-hour workshop addressing setting up for success in intimacy direction for film and television. Topics covered will include consent, on-set power hierarchies, actor advocacy, contract negotiation, and fostering a culture of openness and dialogue on set. This workshop is appropriate for actors, directors, producers, writers and for anyone looking to make the intimacy world a safer place are also welcome.
