The class will participate in a practical on-set demonstration which exemplifies typical dramatic production camera protocol. Taking care of your gear, marking for cast and camera, slating, measuring focus, continuity and setting your exposure will be covered, as well as guidelines for documentary and non-narrative production.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Shauna Townley has worked on set with the camera department for over 16 years. As a member of IATSE 669 she has risen through the ranks from camera trainee to camera operator on countless feature films and television series. She has also been the director of photography on several documentaries, short films and music videos.
