Covering over a 100 years of modern architectural history, this documentary celebrates the remarkable career of Richard Neutra. Along the way, we also learn the more personal story of an architect, whose holistic design ethos was shaped by many places, mentors, clients, collaborations and friendships. Much of this story is wonderfully conveyed by his architect-son, the late Dion Neutra.

Now in its ninth year, the Architecture + Design Film Festival (A+DFF) presents critically acclaimed films focusing on the importance of architecture and design in everyday life. The films cover a range of design-oriented topics from architecture and urban design to graphics and product design. A+DFF is the only festival in Canada devoted solely to architecture and design. This festival is generously supported by The Manitoba Association of Architects, The Winnipeg Foundation, the Faculty of Architecture Endowment Fund (University of Manitoba), and presented in partnership with Urban Idea and the WFG Cinematheque.
