Four years in the making, the stunning new feature documentary Anthropocene: The Human Epoch, is the latest film from the award-winning team, Jennifer Baichwal, Nicholas de Pencier and Edward Burtynsky, who created Manufactured Landscapes (2006) and Watermark (2013). From concrete seawalls in China that now cover 60% of the mainland coast; to the devastated Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the filmmakers traversed the globe using high end production values and state of the art camera techniques to document evidence and experience of human planetary domination.
Canada‘s Top Ten Film Festival returns for the 18th year with a diverse and compelling line up of features and shorts. In January and February, we will present the first part of this program. It will be continued later in March to June. This series is generously sponsored by IATSE 856 and William F. White International.
