48 Hour Film Contest Meet-n-Greet on June 25th

The Registration period for the 48 Hour Film Contest will end on June 25th!  For all actors and filmmakers interested in participating, we will have a Meet-N-Greet in the Black Lodge Studio (3rd floor Artspace building 100 Arthur St.) on Thursday June 25th at 7pm.

If you wish to shoot on city streets that weekend there’s insurance involved – we are waving that fee and providing an opportunity for you to get a location now.

If you are looking for ACTRA actors there is insurance involved – we are waving that fee and you will be able to submit your films beyond this competition.

Monique Perro, (Winnipeg Film Liaison – Film and Special Events) and Multimedia Risk, our insurance providers will be in attendance to answer any questions. Also at this event you will receive the rules and additional benefits pertaining to the competition. If you are looking for crew or just wish to be part of a team then we strongly encourage you to attend this event. If you have not registered please go to the 48 Hour Film Contest link below.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.

The Winnipeg Film Group is located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Métis Nation. We offer our respect and gratitude to the traditional caretakers of this land.
