The Winnipeg Film Group is partnering with the NFB to offer workshops for women interested in building on their skills in the areas of sound, editing and camera.
Submission dates for editing and camera will be announced in 2018.

About the course: Successful applicants will get the opportunity to attend a 2 day crash course utilizing sound in documentary film. The class will touch upon many areas of sound recording, including field recording, sound editing and sound design. We are looking for passionate filmmakers and creative crew who want to learn all facets of the world of sound in documentary filmmaking.
About the instructor: Anita Lubosch has over 25 years’ experience working with music and sound in the film, TV and music industries. After working for a number of years as a professional touring musician, she entered the film industry in 1998 as a boom operator; graduated to mixing features and documentaries and then made the transition to the studio to work as a sound editor/mixer, sound effects designer, and composer on features, documentaries, and TV series.
