Use VUCAVU.education to bring the Winnipeg Film Group catalogue into the classroom!

Mar 2, 2023

VUCAVU, a streaming and research platform for Canadian Independent film, video, and media art, is working to make their shared catalogue more accessible in education settings while keeping the fair payment of artists at the forefront.

VUCAVU’s current educational resources include:

1) Request a free, time-limited Educator Accounts to preview and select works for educational licensing.

2) Select from 1,500+ films and videos available to the public or choose from an additional 4000+ hidden pages reserved for research and licensed classroom screenings.

3) Curate a secure Private Class Page to fit your class needs with any works found in the shared catalogue. Include teaching prompts, reference links or embed instructional PDF’s directly in this class page.

4) Discover works that span 50+ years of Canadian moving image art and include documentary, fiction, experimental, and animation.

5) Show films with unique cultural perspectives and from a diverse group of artists.

6) Present works in multiple languages that are accessible for anywhere with an internet connected device.

Winnipeg Film Group is grateful to be one of VUCAVU’s content partners.
