Mark your calendars for this year’s edition of the The 48 Film Festival making it’s Manitoban premiere at the 2022 Gimli International Film Festival.

 

15 brand new Manitoban made films all produced in just 48 hours! Come out and support local filmmaking talent!

The Gimli International Film Festival (GIFF) has launched the Bursary Program for Underserved Communities to reduce access barriers to its 2022 edition (July 20 – 24) and the greater arts community! Film lovers who self-identify as members of an underserved community can now apply for a free Festival Day Pass and festival transportation courtesy of GIFF.

As Manitoba’s largest film festival, GIFF offers a variety of engaging, inspiring, connective, and exciting film-based experiences in the gorgeous lakeside town of Gimli. Festival attendees can immerse themselves in both sun and film as they take in dozens of short and feature films from Manitoba and around the world; in-depth workshops and panels with filmmakers and industry professionals; fun networking and social opportunities; and of course, the easy-going lake vibes.
