ReFrame Film Festival kicks off next week in Peterborough and two works from the WFG collection will be included in their 15th anniversary programming!
Every year, ReFrame screens the best social justice documentaries from Canada and across the world.
My Boy, a short documentary by Sage about the disappearance of a two-spirited man and his mother’s campaign on behalf of missing and murdered Indigenous men, and Biidaaban (the dawn comes), a stop-motion animation by Amanda Strong based on the writings of Leanne Simpson and featuring a young, gender non-binary Anishinaabeg, will both play during ReFrame 2019.
Congratulations to Sage and Amanda!
