Touching, hilarious and poignant, the film follows a group of teenagers who visit a retirement home to mentor seniors in the skill of working with social network sites and other computer applications. After a few pointers, seniors compete in a YouTube video challenge (one 89-year-old woman gives tips on how to make a grilled cheese sandwich using an iron) while others are enriched by digitally re-connecting with their families on Facebook. Cyber-Seniors adds to the important international conversation about the growing generation gap.

Cyber Seniors has been generously sponsored by New Media Manitoba.

A sweet tale that will resonate with anyone who has tried to make a Skype call to a grandparent.
