48 HOUR FILM CONTEST 2019 – CONGRATS ON THE FILMS GOING TO GIMLI

Congratulations to all 18 teams from the 48 Hour Film Contest that will screen at the Gimli Film Festival 2019 (see below). In the last six years that we have done this annual event, this is the best crop of films we have programmed. Please tell your fam and friends to buy tickets at gimlifilm.com. This show will sell out fast it will screen on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 3pm in the Gimli Theatre.

The 5th Annual India Film Festival of Alberta (IFFA – 2019), presented by the Edmonton Movie Club is bigger and better than ever! This year’s festival features many films from around India and Canada in eight different languages. IFFA 2019 is going to witness the world premiere of Malayalam language feature film And the Oscar Goes to.., which was shot in Edmonton in September 2018.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.

The Winnipeg Film Group is located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Métis Nation. We offer our respect and gratitude to the traditional caretakers of this land.
