Congrats to all who participated in the 48 Hour Film Contest 2018. We appreciate and value all of your hard work, collaborations and creative juices in making your films. We do this competition each year keeping in mind that we will screen all films at the Metropolitan Entertainment Theatre. Sunday evening our Selection Committee choose the top-18 films that will advance to the Gimli Film Festival. It was a tough competition between the Adults vs the Youth… I’m pleased to announce that seven Youth and eleven Adult teams were chosen (see list below).
Gimli Theatre – 2018 Gimli Film Festival Screening

Special: For each of these filmmakers listed below, Gimli will create a Saturday Day Pass with their names on them that they can either A) pick up in advance at the Gimli Film Festival box office, or B) Pick up at the entrance of the Gimli Theatre before the 48 Hour screening. NOTE: For films with two directors, Gimli will put both names one ONE PASS so either of the two directors can use them, just not at the same time. GFF Box Office: 73 1st Ave – Lakeview Resort Located in Tara’s Corner, entrance on 1st Ave.
