MEMBER PREMIERES CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

We are now accepting submissions of new works for our next Member Premieres screening, Sun June 24 at 7 PM at the Gas Station Theatre.

  • SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: Friday, May 4 at 4 PM

ELIGIBLE FILMMAKERS / WORKS

  • Eligible filmmakers are residents of Manitoba and filmmaker members of the Winnipeg Film Group
  • We will consider all types of new short works – drama, comedy, documentary, experimental, etc.
  • We can consider film, video, digital and other moving image media for this screening series
  • Submissions should include a DVD or film print. Screening is via file or small gauge film print only. One work per DVD; compilation DVDs will not be accepted. DVDs must be submitted in a DVD folder or DVD envelope; loose DVDs will not be accepted
  • Notification of works selected for inclusion in the premieres will be made by early June 2012

Prior to making a submission, please consider if you are able to provide a suitable file of your complete work by the beginning of June 2012 (Apple ProRes 422, Animation codec or Avi full resolution-native resolution; H264 is NOT suitable).

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.

The Winnipeg Film Group is located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and in the homeland of the Métis Nation. We offer our respect and gratitude to the traditional caretakers of this land.
