WFG @ FNC

Several films from the WFG will be screening at this year’s FNC!

Festival du nouveau cinéma is an annual festival of independent cinema whose 47th iteration is taking place Oct 3-14, 2018 in Montréal.

Tales from the Winnipeg Film Group, a feature-length documentary about the WFG by Dave Barber and Kevin Nikkel, screens on Oct 9 and 11 as part of the Focus Québec/Canada programming.

Mike Maryniuk’s experimental feature, The Goose, is also included in the Focus Québec/Canada program and screens Oct 9 (preceded by Tales from the WFG) and Oct 13.

Sol Nagler’s genizah; passages from the lublin book graveyard, Roger D. Wilson (Cooper)’s I am the Captain of this Ship, and Scott Fitzpatrick’s Trigger Warning have been selected for Les nouveaux alchimistes program of experimental works.
