BEND TO EARTH
Book-ended by recollections from the Dakota Access Pipeline protests at Standing Rock, this selection of four videos examines relationships between earth and human processes, technology and geology, physical and emotional pain. Personal reflection and concepts of distance are explored while tracing the extraction of oil, ore, mineral and memory. I have a very strange relationship to this rock.
