Murray Toews Biography
Murray’s creative work spans the disciplines and media of drawing, print, film, audio-art, interactivity and digital / analog hand-drawn animation that make use of thematic process-driven animation techniques that rapidly create animated shorts. He received a BFA first class honours degree with a thesis in advanced drawing from the U of M. In 2004, he curated “Animator/Re-Animator” featuring Prairie animation with screenings in Canada and Japan. In 2012, his animated short Thought Camera, Reel One: “Circus of Objects” was the official selection for the NSI Online Short Film Festival and the 2013 Gimli Film Festival Manitoba program.“10 Years Before Happiness” is his latest short hybrid narrative animation film completed late 2017.
Chris MAMA Bauer Biography
AUOH is the experimental sound project of Chris MAMA Bauer- composer and multi-instrumentalist who has contributed to local, national and internationally recorded and touring acts for over 25 years. AUOH (short for A Universe of Horrors) blurs music and noise to create evolving and mutating monster-pieces of sound…the soundtrack for the B-movie in your mind!
