Perhaps the greatest fantasy adventure film of all time. Film Director Carl Denham takes a crew and his lead actress Ann Darrow to the mysterious Skull Island to shoot scenes for a new movie. As he searches for the legendary monster his actress is kidnapped by natives and turned over to King Kong. They rescue her and capture Kong to take him to New York but he breaks loose and wreaks havoc on the city.
Winnipegger Bruce Thomson saw King Kong on television as a child and sought out everything he could find on it ever since. He is a member of the Sons of Kong group, which meets every five years to celebrate King Kong and do presentations.
