WFG Staff screening at TIFF

Aug 11, 2017

Congratulations to Milos Mitrovic, the WFG’s Production Centre Program Coordinator, whose short film, homer_b , co-directed with Conor Sweeney, will premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival!

TIFF, arguably the biggest film festival in Canada, is a pivotal festival for many filmmakers. Milos previously screened his short film Imitations (co-directed with Fabian Velasco) at the festival in 2016. Conor Sweeney was at TIFF in 2014 with the filmmaking collective Astron-6, screening their feature film The Editor, which Conor co-wrote and starred in.

Also screening at TIFF this year are shorts from some of our friends, who are all also veterans of the festival:

  • Creatura Dada  by Caroline Monnet
  • The Tesla World Light by Matthew Rankin

Have fun everyone! Make Winnipeg proud!
