Introduced by Bill MacGillivray.
MacGillivray’s superb portrait of veteran Newfoundland singer-songwriter Ron Hynes. The film takes Hynes to the Ferryland home he inherited from his father who abandoned his wife and children when Ron was just a youngster, an episode that recalls a lyrical sequence from Life Classes. Hynes has his own sharply funny take on the thin line between truth and myth in his life, but revelations of another kind dig even deeper.
