Learn to conjure the sensual secrets from deep within the super 8 cartridge in this half-workshop, half-thought experiment, half-mystical experience.
On Day #1, students will take a spiritual oath of devotional cinema prior to learning many advanced Super 8 techniques including open exposure photography (which mimics double exposure), light table animation, GPS-guided stop motion techniques, fades, cross fades and other tricks on the all-powerful Braun Nizo Super 8 camera!
Day #2 will involve additional shooting, hand processing the black & white film and experimenting with some direct animation techniques.
