Bylaws Review: Next Steps

Bylaws Review: Next Steps

Mon Mar 28 / 12PM

Location: E-mail Submission
Registration Fee: Free
Instructor: WFG Board of Directors

The Winnipeg Film Group’s board of directors is currently engaging in a bylaws review. Non profit boards are required to review their bylaws periodically to ensure ongoing organizational relevance and adherence to applicable laws and legislations that change from time to time.

As part of this process, it invited all interested members of the community at large to a public consultation session that was held at the Winnipeg Cinematheque, Sat March 12, 12 noon to 2 PM.

In order to facilitate feedback from those unable to attend the public consultation session, the board of directors is now inviting comments to be submitted to bylaws@winnipegfilmgroup.com, up to Monday, March 28 at 12 noon.

* Please note Monday, March 28 is Easter Monday.

Hard copies of the draft amended bylaws are available for pick up at the 3rd floor production centre to support this process.

You can learn more about governance at the Winnipeg Film Group here.

The Winnipeg Film Group acknowledges the support of the Manitoba Arts Council for our bylaws review project.
