One of the most important skills modern directors and DP’s are required to master is moving the camera in a dynamic and engaging way. This workshop will teach all levels of filmmakers the precise cinematic language of motion, and how to move not only the camera itself, but also content in front of the camera.

Join Brad Crawford in this two part hands-on workshop where you will:

  • Analyze film clips where movement is utilized.
  • Learn how different camera movement techniques make different impacts on the scene.
  • Use a variety of tools to create camera movement.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Brad Crawford is the tech specialist of Strata Studios, in charge of editing and post-production as well as the various camera technologies. Brad prides himself on his ability to light and compose any shot for any scenario.

-The Winnipeg Film Group reserves the right to cancel any course where the minimum registration has not been met. Anyone registered for a course that has been cancelled is eligible for a full refund, Cancelled course fees may also be used towards any other Winnipeg Film Group training programs.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.
