Digital Content Delivery Technician needed (contract position)

The WFG, in partnership with the Canadian Coalition of Independent Media Art Distributors (CCIMAD), requires a Winnipeg-based, technically proficient and conscientious Digital Content Delivery Technician able to deliver digital content on a limited-time contract basis.

The tasks of the contractor will include:

  • Creation of clips / trailers for short films
  • Photoshop editing of film stills
  • Vimeo uploading
  • File organization & backup creation
  • File conversions
  • Data entry
  • Other related duties

The contractor:

  • Must possess exceptional knowledge of Codecs, frame rates, video and photo editing software (eg. Final Cut Pro, Photoshop) as well as conversion software
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail organization
  • Must be able to work independently and problem solve / trouble-shoot technical issues
  • Should be familiar with independent media art
  • Will invoice for work completed

The contract:

  • Requires an estimated 75-100 hours of work
  • Must be completed by February 28, 2016
