Congratulations to BJ Verot and Brad Crawford for winning the 2015 CBC Short Film Face Off!
Their short film, Loss of Contact, won the annual on air competition by gaining the most online and phone-in votes from the Canadian public. The three panelists also agreed that the film was worthy of the win. The filmmakers win a total of $45,000 in cash and services.
Loss of Contact highlights the dramatic yet comedic ups and downs of a race-walking competition. The short film, made for the WFG’s 48 Hour Film Contest, is distributed by the WFG’s Distribution Department. The film will air on CBC’s Canadian Reflections later this year.
