The Japan Film Festival is held yearly in our jurisdiction in order to provide people in Canada with the opportunity to experience all that Japanese cinema has to offer.
The God of Ramen is a “touching, heart-felt documentary” about one mans’ desire to serve people his deceptively simple ramen. Until The Break of Dawn is based on a best-selling novel by Mizuki Tsujimura, winner of the 32nd Yoshikawa Eiji Prize for New Writers. In his first starring role in a feature film, Tori Matsuzaka plays Ayumi, a high school student who begins working as an apprentice spirit medium under the tutelage of his grandmother, Aiko (Kirin Kiki), in hopes of taking over for her someday.
