WFG Annual General Meeting (AGM) Notice

The Winnipeg Film Group’s 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Monday, March 20th at 7:00 PM in-person at the Dave Barber Cinematheque in the Artspace Building, located at 100 Arthur Street in Winnipeg, and virtually via Zoom.

While voting at the meeting is only for individual General Members of the Winnipeg Film Group who are in good standing, the meeting is open to the general public.

Virtual Registration 6:15 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, March 20th

If you’re a member in good standing, and cannot attend and would like to submit a proxy request please fill out the form here: https://form.jotform.com/230515715980255 by Friday, March 17th at 5:00pm.

At the AGM, the organization will present its annual report and audited financial statements, appoint the auditor for the next fiscal year, update our By-laws. Additionally, elections will be held for three Board of Director positions.

** Please Note: The meeting will be videotaped in order to facilitate the minute taking process

Appointed board member positions are intended for the need for outside expertise (accountants, lawyers or other professionals) and are not required to be WFG members (bylaw article 4.01).

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.
